Foundry Technician/CoremakerLocation: Newton, MS Work Arrangement: Shift (1st, 5am to 3:15pm)We are a global leader in mining technology for a sustainable future. You'll work with purpose, learn every day and help shape a more sustainable future.Core Production: Operate coremaking equipment daily to produce cores using sand, binders, and magnetite for earth-moving equipment attachments, ensuring adherence to production schedules and specifications. Equipment Calibration: Calibrate core machines to specific ranges to maintain precision and quality in core production. Quality Assurance: Inspect cores for defects and confirm that all cores meet required specifications to ensure product reliability and customer satisfaction. Maintenance and Cleanliness: Clean and maintain coremaking equipment and work area, including completing 6S and cleanup activities at the end of each shift to support operational efficiency. Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.Must-haves: High School Diploma or GED. Commitment to workplace safety and zero harm principles.Nice-to-haves: Previous experience in a manufacturing or foundry environment. Familiarity with 6S or similar workplace organization methodologies.
