Role: Salesforce Developer

Location: Princeton NJ

Duration: Fulltime

Work Mode: 4 days Work from Office

Role Overview

Build, enhance, test, deploy, and support Salesforce applications under the guidance of Senior/Lead Developers and Architects. The Developer should have solid hands-on platform skills, a strong engineering mindset, and the communication skills needed to work effectively in a collaborative delivery team.

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Develop and enhance Salesforce functionality using Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce configuration.
\n
• Implement approved business requirements and technical designs.
\n
• Develop bulkified and governor-limit-compliant Apex code.
\n
• Build unit tests and maintain appropriate code coverage and quality.
\n
• Develop and maintain Lightning Web Components and Salesforce automation.
\n
• Support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and standard integration patterns.
\n
• Assist with asynchronous processing, Platform Events, CDC, and other platform capabilities as required.
\n
• Participate in code reviews, defect resolution, troubleshooting, and performance improvements.
\n
• Support deployments through established CI/CD and release-management processes.
\n
• Work within Agile/Scrum teams and participate in estimation, sprint planning, daily collaboration, demos, and retrospectives.
\n
• Maintain technical documentation and communicate progress, blockers, and technical issues proactively.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with Senior Developers, Lead Developers, Architects, QA, Business Analysts, and Product Owners.

Required Skills & Experience

\n
• 3–5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
\n
• Proficiency in Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, and Salesforce data/security concepts.
\n
• Understanding of Salesforce governor limits, bulkification, and test-driven development practices.
\n
• Working knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations and JSON/XML.
\n
• Basic to intermediate JavaScript, HTML, and CSS skills.
\n
• Experience with Git, Salesforce DX, CI/CD, and deployment processes.
\n
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
\n
• Strong troubleshooting, teamwork, communication, and willingness to learn.
\n
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is preferred.
\n

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline is preferred. Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
